Many young women have sex to gain intimacy. They often believe that having sex with a guy will make the guy love them, stay with them or bring the two of them closer. And oftentimes after the fact, they regret that they engaged in sex prematurely. This is why it is important that you talk to your daughter about dating and relationship issues and give her the skills to become relationship literate.
