Supporting your child’s growth and development will cultivate respect and build a strong relationship between you. Make sure you attend school events, parent-teacher conferences, and every game your child plays. You may miss a game or two because you have to work or because you are sick, but not attending games for no good reason will allow roots of disrespect to grow in your child’s heart.
