As I wandered through the garden flowers blooming outside my house yesterday I happened upon some bumblebees as they went about their business leaping from flower to flower in search of nectar and pollen I happen to like bumblebees and butterflies. They have always been a fascination of mine since childhood and having grown up in a country environment I was comfortable with them being around. My two youngest girls are scared of all bees.

What you see on movies, TV shows, videos, is labor is so simple. A pregnant wakes up with a start, grasps her belly, and shakes her sleeping partner with: “sweetie, it’s time”. But in real life, labor is not that simple.

Many moms to be forget that they too benefit from proper nutrition during pregnancy. After all what you put into your body while pregnant directly effects how your unborn baby copes with and recovers from all the physical and emotional changes you go through during pregnancy.

Do you know what your kids are eating at school lunch? You have a better chance if you make them a school lunch. You can at least hope they eat their pretzels and sandwich in “The Juice Box Jungle.”

They say that nothing is easy in life and with regard to an international adoption that is an understatement! Of course you love your parents - that’s a given. But at times, maintaining the bond between parent and adult child can be as challenging as that between parent and teenager. These days, both of you are confronting new challenges — retirement or career changes, health issues, concerns about the future. It’s to be expected these issues will affect your relationship, but as you change, so, too, must your relationship with your parents change.
